Casey Currie had a grueling weekend, when mechanical issues got the better of the Trophy Jeep just 40 miles from finishing.

"What a grueling Desert Race here at the Hammers! We were running a solid pace all day and were ready to push hard on the last lap to try and get it to Victory lane when a sensor on the motor let go and shut the Trophy Jeep off. No way of fixing it on the course and 40 miles from the finish we were done. Next year we will be back to try it again!" - Casey Currie
