Determination, skill, and true fighting spirit: Juan “The Spaniard” Archuleta is on a mission to leave his mark on the world of mixed martial arts. Known for stepping into the Octagon in his trademark Spanish conquistador helmet, the California native commands a near-perfect fight record earned against some of the game’s heaviest hitters. After making his professional MMA debut in 2013, Archuleta built an 18-fight winning streak before challenging Pitbull for the featherweight title in 2019. Although Spaniard lost his title shot that time, he quickly regrouped with his team at Joe Stevenson’s Cobra Kai – and personal support from UFC icon Cub Swanson – to start pursuing the 135-pound belt. In late 2020, Archuleta finally struck gold when he earned the title of Bellator Bantamweight World Champion at Bellator 246. End of story? Far from it! Keep watching as The Spaniard’s conquest continues.
