BIOGRAPHY

Clean, stylish, and technical: Young Norwegian ripper Ferdinand Dahl is part of a generation that’s equally comfortable riding regular and switch, especially when it comes to destroying rails with mind-boggling combos. But don’t mistake him for yet another jib kid: Ferdinand’s aerial game is on its own level with a penchant for going massive across the distance, making him a double threat in both Slopestyle and Big Air. Growing up in the small town of Oppegaard near Oslo, Ferdinand perfected his skills with Oslo Winterpark as his home mountain. He barged onto the scene as a talented teen putting down a standout 2017/2018 season claiming triple podiums at World Cup events across France, Switzerland, and the United States. At X Games Aspen 2019, his skate-inspired style earned him Slopestyle bronze as his first X Games medal. During the global pandemic, Ferdinand picked up sewing as a hobby and worked on expanding his upcoming apparel label, Capeesh Supply, with Monster teammate Quinn Wolferman. Still, he never missed a beat on the slopes, closing out the 2020 season with a third-place finish in Slopestyle at the Stubai FIS World Cup in November. Always stacking clips and working on new tricks, Ferdinand Dahl is at the forefront of technical trick evolution in modern-day freeski, so make sure to watch closely.
