BIOGRAPHY

In 2020 Boudreaux Campbell, the Crockett, Texas, native won the PBR World Finals and was named the 2020 PBR Rookie of the Year. He finished an impressive third in the world standings after riding 4 of 5 bulls at the Finals, including a pair of 90-point scores to move from 33 to third in the standings. “It’s a dream come true, I was just blessed and honored to go to the PBR World Finals in the first place. To have such a good Finals, I can't thank the man upstairs enough. We made it work. I don’t want to plateau there.”


In 2021, Campbell rode World Champion Bull Woopaa not once, but three times. He rode him for the event win in Kansas City for 95.5 points, again in Cheyenne, Wyoming, for 95.25 points, and then a couple of weeks later, in Little Rock, Arkansas, for 93.75 points. Campbell, who won the final regular-season PBR event in Billings, Montana, and then won the PBR Velocity Tour Finals, described his second qualified ride on Woopaa as a turning point in the 2021 season.

Prior to joining the PBR, Campbell followed in his father’s footsteps by first competing in the PRCA. Between the PBR and PRCA, he has won more than $1.5 million. He was a five-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier and the 2017 PRCA Rookie of the Year in bull riding. In addition to his PBR success in 2020, Campbell was the Xtreme Bulls Champion.

Campbell graduated from Lovelady (Texas) High School. Before turning pro, Campbell won the junior high and high school state bull riding championships in Texas and, in the process, qualified for both the junior high and high school national finals. His father Jay was a professional bull rider and Boudreaux began his career muttin’ busting at the age of 4.
